The Origin Story
Super Collider Computers has been fixing things in North Newton, Kansas since 2000. The name? We just thought it sounded cool. (It does.) Over 25 years later, we’re still here — still fixing our neighbors’ PCs, Macs, phones, and the occasional gaming rig that’s seen better days.
We’re a small shop, and we like it that way. No ticket numbers, no hold music, no “have you tried turning it off and on again” scripts. Just a real person who knows your name and knows what’s wrong with your computer.
What We’re About
- Straight talk. We’ll tell you what’s wrong, what it’ll cost, and whether it’s even worth fixing. If your ten-year-old laptop needs a $300 repair, we’ll say so — and help you figure out a better option.
- Fair, simple pricing. The diagnostic fee goes toward your repair. You get a written estimate before we start. No gotchas.
- Everything with a power button. Windows, Mac, iPhone, Android, gaming consoles — we don’t play favorites. You shouldn’t have to drive to Wichita for help.
- One person, start to finish. When you text or call, you’re talking to the person who’s going to fix it. When you pick it up, we’ll tell you what we did — in actual English.
Been Around the Block
Two and a half decades of hands-on work means we’ve survived every era of personal computing — from the wild west of Windows XP to the walled garden of Apple Silicon. We keep up with modern hardware, current threats, and whatever new way the industry has found to make things complicated. So you don’t have to.
